Nothing spooky has ever happened on a clear and bright day. So this is coming up LAST on my list of spooky weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
9 – Sunny days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"sunshine](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/jorge-vasconez-CpeUoLVTAs8-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C408&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSunshine just isn’t very spooky. Dark places are more spooky than light ones. So the more sun you have, the less likely you are to get spooked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve never had a spooky experience on a sunny day. It’s just very unlikely to happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8 – Overcast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"grey](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/barry-simon-4C6Rp23RjnE-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C411&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nOvercast days can be quite unpleasant. They’re depressing, to say the least, and all that grey can be quite spooky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clouds are basically sky ghosts. And on an overcast day it’s like the sky is haunted. So it can be quite a spooky experience if you’re not ready for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7 – Sandstorm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"A](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/robert-metz-i2GfC7zzMIM-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C411&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI try to avoid sandstorms as much as possible in my everyday life. They’re annoying, and spookier than you might expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lack of visibility is the main contributor to the spook factor here. If you can’t see where you’re going clearly, then you don’t know if you’re about to walk right into a werewolf or mummy or any other kind of spooky. Be careful out there, folks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 – Snow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"a](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/adam-chang-IWenq-4JHqo-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C393&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSnow is cold, which is the spookiest temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"rain](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/roman-synkevych-qPvBmSvmohs-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C411&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"someone](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/osman-rana-GXEZuWo5m4I-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C411&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"a](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/stijn-te-strake-tCjCn3b_asg-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C409&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"a](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookywook.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/ricardo-gomez-angel-dTSaC-S-7fs-unsplash.jpg?resize=616%2C320&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSunshine just isn’t very spooky. Dark places are more spooky than light ones. So the more sun you have, the less likely you are to get spooked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve never had a spooky experience on a sunny day. It’s just very unlikely to happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8 – Overcast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nOvercast days can be quite unpleasant. They’re depressing, to say the least, and all that grey can be quite spooky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clouds are basically sky ghosts. And on an overcast day it’s like the sky is haunted. So it can be quite a spooky experience if you’re not ready for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7 – Sandstorm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI try to avoid sandstorms as much as possible in my everyday life. They’re annoying, and spookier than you might expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lack of visibility is the main contributor to the spook factor here. If you can’t see where you’re going clearly, then you don’t know if you’re about to walk right into a werewolf or mummy or any other kind of spooky. Be careful out there, folks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 – Snow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSnow is cold, which is the spookiest temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5 – Cloudy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nOvercast days can be quite unpleasant. They’re depressing, to say the least, and all that grey can be quite spooky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clouds are basically sky ghosts. And on an overcast day it’s like the sky is haunted. So it can be quite a spooky experience if you’re not ready for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7 – Sandstorm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI try to avoid sandstorms as much as possible in my everyday life. They’re annoying, and spookier than you might expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lack of visibility is the main contributor to the spook factor here. If you can’t see where you’re going clearly, then you don’t know if you’re about to walk right into a werewolf or mummy or any other kind of spooky. Be careful out there, folks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 – Snow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSnow is cold, which is the spookiest temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5 – Cloudy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI try to avoid sandstorms as much as possible in my everyday life. They’re annoying, and spookier than you might expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lack of visibility is the main contributor to the spook factor here. If you can’t see where you’re going clearly, then you don’t know if you’re about to walk right into a werewolf or mummy or any other kind of spooky. Be careful out there, folks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 – Snow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSnow is cold, which is the spookiest temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5 – Cloudy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSnow is cold, which is the spookiest temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5 – Cloudy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYes, we already had overcast higher up in this list. But I’m talking about some big, grey, scary clouds here. The kind you might see in a scary movie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kinds of clouds are very spooky indeed. And that’s why they make our top five today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 – Drizzle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n3 – Rain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nA step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 – Hurricane\/Tornado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nSorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 – Fog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nFog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nYuck! Drizzle gets you all wet and is generally quite annoying to be involved with. Spookily<\/em> annoying? Yes, I think so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n A step up from drizzle, “rain” is when water falls out of the sky in a big way. It’s definitely spookier than mere drizzle, by sheer volume alone. Grab your umbrella; you’re in for a spooky time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sorry I didn’t research the difference between the two. But my understanding is that they’re basically the same thing. Swirly wind boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hurricanes and tornados are VERY spooky indeed. They even sound spooky. The howling gusts of a hurricane sound a lot like the haunting calls of a ghoul or banshee. They don’t take the top spot on our list today, but they come very close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fog is basically a big ghost you walk through. It’s also where witches, skeletons, and draculas live. Nothing unspooky has ever happened within fog. And even mundane activities (chopping onions, setting a crossword, learning to juggle) take on spooky qualities when undertaken in a foggy setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I will actively steer clear of any fog I come across, and I suggest you do the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n EDIT:<\/strong> OH GOD I FORGOT THUNDER AND LIGHTNING THOSE ARE VERY SPOOKY TOO SORRY<\/p>\n\n\n\n EDIT 2:<\/strong> more things that didn’t make the cut but are quite spooky: hail, a blood moon, night time<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Alright, I’m not gonna waste your time with a long preamble.
